This amazing video of Pope Leo XIII was filmed in 1896 by W. K. Dickson, the inventor of the device used for the filming.
If you look closely, you can actually see Leo blessing the nascent filming device!
The audio that comes on for the second half of the video is of Leo praying the Hail Mary prayer in Latin, which was recorded a few years later.
