This guy simply over-estimated his ability to enjoy spicy Thai food. Who hasn’t done that before?
Sure, he’s eating people. But notice the tear coming from his eye. He doesn’t like what he’s become!
Does he really deserve being stabbed through the jaw? Isn’t that a bit harsh?!
The sea monster finally mustered the courage to say hello with a smile, and this is what he gets.

That knight is clearly attacking him out of jealously.
