Catholic Students Call for End to “Prayer Shaming” in Powerful Viral Video

Is it become less acceptable to pray or talk about prayer in public?

Students at East Catholic High School in Manchester, CT think so and have made a powerful video encouraging people to keep praying, especially in response to terrible tragedies.

And it’s gone hugely viral, with over 720,000 views on Facebook and over 711,000 on Vimeo!

“Enough is enough. It’s time to take a stand,” the Facebook video post reads, posted December 14th, 2015. “Today, students at East Catholic High School rise up and declare that we’re more concerned with God than we are with being politically correct. […]

“No more prayer shaming. Let’s bring God and prayer back into our lives.”
