Google generated severe backlash from Unplanned movie supporters after the search engine labeled the movie’s genre as “Propaganda.”

Computer screenshots described the film’s genre, which Google labeled as “Drama/Propaganda.”

The label received severe backlash from the public.

For example, Daily Signal senior writer and producer Kelsey Bolar tweeted, “Who knew that ‘propaganda’ was a movie genre?  @Google once again exposing its gross political bias. @UnplannedMovie”

The March for Life also tweeted, “Telling the truth about abortion is not propaganda. / Thank you to the entire
@UnplannedMovie team and @AbbyJohnson for courageously sharing your testimony with the world!”

After the severe backlash from supporters, Fox News researched many additional films that one may consider propaganda.

The article explains that Google does not lump the God’s Not Dead film series or Michael Moore films into a propaganda genre.

Other films, such as Dinesh D’Souza’s  2016: Obama’s America and the Dick Cheney documentary, Viceare also not considered propaganda by Google’s search.

Fox News reached out to Google for comment, and they explained that their “‘Knowledge Graph’ analyzed web content on Unplanned, and that a large volume of it described the film as propaganda and placed the label without a universal consensus.”

Google added, “When we’re made aware of disputed facts in our Knowledge Graph, we work to fix the issues, as we’ve done in this case.”

However,  Live Action founder Lila Rose had a very different opinion.

The pro-life advocate said this in a recent tweet accompanied by two photos:

“Yesterday @Google had their contempt for pro-life voices on full display by labeling @UnplannedMovie as ‘propaganda.’ / Meanwhile, ‘The Triumph of the Will’ a literal Nazi propaganda film is labeled as ‘history/war.’ / Was this just another ‘mistake,’ or ‘algorithm’ error?”

This user responded, “Isn’t that a reason not to trust google’s response?”

This user added, “At the core, the abortion battle will always be a spiritual battle-thus, falsehoods will always play a part in the fight. So, keep up the good fight, Lila, and let’s pray that God will change hearts and then minds!”
