This Easter Sunday, the world witnessed the news of the eight bombings in Sri Lanka that killed more than 300 people and wounded more than 500.

St. Anthony’s Shrine in Negombo, St. Sebastian Catholic Church in Colombo, and the evangelical Zion Church in Batticaloa were three churches who fell victim to these bombings.

Footage has now surfaced of the extensive damage from the bombings that killed more than 300 people. Here’s photos and videos revealing just how much damage these bombings caused.

Here’s the damage at St. Anthony’s Shrine:

This video by Associated Press shows the street covered in the shrine’s shattered glass. Upon entering, we see the inside destruction, along with shoes in a pile on the floor.

The shrine is also flooded, and debris is everywhere. Additionally, clothing and personal items are scattered throughout the church.

However, the main roof, along with a St. Anthony statue inside the shrine, appears untouched.

Here’s a look at St. Sebastian’s Catholic Church:

This video by AFP News Agency shows debris and shattered statues, and blood splattered all over the church. Some statues appear to be standing, but the bombing destroyed much of the church.

It also depicts clothing, shoes and other personal items scattered throughout the premises.

The two Catholic Church bombings resulted in almost 300 deaths.

This video isn’t quite as vivid, but it depicts firefighters watering down the church after the bombing. This bombing killed approximately 29 people.
