This is such a beautiful pro-life witness! Praise God for new life!

Backstreet Boy Nick Carter recently announced that he and his wife, Lauren, are expecting a new baby after suffering a miscarriage last fall.

“Thank You God for giving us the greatest gift we could ever ask for 🌈. #pregnant #werepregnant #babykisses #happiness #family”, Carter said in an Instagram post featuring his pregnant wife and three-year-old son, Odin.

After suffering last year’s miscarriage, the couple expressed their deep sadness, explaining that the baby was “a little sister for Odin.” Lauren would have been due March 8, 2019.

Nick tweeted his heartbreak last fall with a prayer for peace:

His full tweet reads, “God give us peace during this time. I really was looking forward to meeting her after three months. 😢 I’m heartbroken.”

Nick’s wife, Lauren, also expressed the pain followed by a miscarriage. She posted a photo of her late baby’s sonogram, along with encouragement for women enduring the same loss.

Debated on whether or not to post this but since today would have been my Due Date and it’s #internationalwomensday I thought I’d share with you all an often shameful subject that we as Women and Parents suffer in silence. Shameful because as a woman I am supposed to create life and when failing to do so feels like failure as a human. I accept circumstances out of our control and I’ve moved on from my losses, days like today remind me just how fortunate I am to have a healthy child and how BADASS women are, how much we endure with a smile on our face. If you are struggling to start a family or have had a loss this post is for you, you’re not alone and there is always hope. Thankfully I have access to great Dr’s and healthcare professionals but sadly many women don’t so in honor of our baby girl and #internationalwomensday I am making a donation to @everymomcounts in hopes of aiding future parents from preventable illnesses and in some cases death. #women #health #midwives #babies #pregnancyloss #miscarriage #angelbabies #mom #dad #parents *** I’ve gotten DM’s and comments about my ultrasound date, I didn’t think I had to explain every medical detail but for those that are so concerned…when I went to see my doctor I gave them, to the best of my knowledge, the first day of my last period and so they put in that date. Once I had my tests and measurements they realized I had gotten my date wrong and adjusted my records accordingly. My DD was then also adjusted to 3-8-19***

Also following the September miscarriage, Nick explained how grateful he is for his family and his life.

“I’ve always had a love for family. And then obviously, things kind of happened for me in my life. And now that I have Odin, words can’t explain how happy I am right now and how much more invigorated I am. I realize how blessed I am to have him, my wife, to have my group.”

Please pray for all families suffering from miscarriage!
