Pornography is an epidemic, but there is an “immaculate” solution.
I have given so much advice in the confessional, some of it proves as clear ways for penitents to begin gaining their freedom from pornography, and other things seem to fail.
What works the best, I believe, is that constant return to God throughout the day.
But first, let’s take a look at the breakdown of pornographic viewers:
Percentages of men viewing pornography monthly:
79 percent of 18-30-year-olds,
67 percent of 31-49-year-olds
49 percent of 50-68-year-olds
Percentages of women viewing pornography monthly:
76 percent of 18-30-year-olds
16 percent of 31-49-year-olds
4 percent of 50-68-year-olds
Percentages of men viewing pornography several times per week:
63 percent of 18-30-year-olds
38 percent of 31-49-year-olds
25 percent of 50-68-year-olds
Percentages of women viewing pornography several times per week:
21 percent of 18-30-year-olds
5 percent of 31-49-year-olds
O percent 50-68-year-olds
Percentages of males viewing pornography daily:
21.3 percent of young men
5 percent of young boys
If these numbers are anywhere near accurate, then we have an epidemic on our hands as bad or even worse than alcohol or drugs have ever been.
If you or someone you know is caught in this devil’s trap, then you know how soul-wrenching and hard it is to overcome. Even those who daily muster all they have to fight to overcome sexual addiction, there are days they feel that all is lost once they succumb to just one temptation and fall back into pornography.
In this way, sexual addiction has the exact same effect as alcohol to an alcoholic, and drugs to a drug addict.
But there is an immaculate hope through Mary’s intercession to Jesus, our mighty healer and mighty Savior! Even to the most enslaved addict!
Whosoever shall persevere in the following this exercise shall receive a new level of freedom that they have not had…maybe even in years.
Whosoever shall pray one Our Father, ten Hail Mary’s and one Glory Be at the top of every hour while awake and while meditating on any word or action of Jesus Christ from any of the four Gospels, and does so for 40 days in a row, shall obtain a new level of hope and freedom from pornography, or from any other addiction or trial.
This only takes three minutes!
No, these are not senseless prayers, but rather, a steadfast method throughout the day of giving one’s life completely into the hands of Jesus Christ through prayer and meditation on our salvation.

In return, promise to actively fight to make pornography illegal as a constitutional amendment in our country. Fight to take this epidemic evil away from the world, our nation, our community, and our loved ones!

Thank God for Mary’s continued intercession as Mother of us all, who ceaselessly kneels before her Son, our Lord Jesus, begging for mercy towards us, her children!
Let us fiercely resolve to fight against pornography so that everyone ensnared by the devil may gain freedom from this most grave epidemic that destroys the lives and souls of our loved ones and millions of men and women alike.
