Hollywood actress and director Roxann Dawson recently sat down with ChurchPOP Editor Jacqueline Burkepile for an exclusive interview.
Having recently directed the hit movie Breakthrough starring Chrissy Metz, Dawson discusses how her Catholic faith impacts her Hollywood career.
The Catholic convert explains how she grew up in an atheist home, but after marrying her husband, “found a home in the Catholic Church.”
Dawson, who also starred in Star Trek Voyager as B’Elanna Torres, says directing Breakthrough “strengthened my faith.” She then discusses how she carries her Catholic faith in the secular Hollywood atmosphere.
She provides additional advice for aspiring young actors hoping to make it in Hollywood.
