Happy Divine Mercy Sunday!

Did you see ChurchPOP’s Divine Mercy special on Facebook today?

Pastor Fr. Kyle Walterscheid of St. John Paul II Catholic Church in Denton, Texas hosted Eucharistic exposition and Benediction at his parish in Denton, Texas for Divine Mercy Sunday. ChurchPOP live-streamed the special event.

ChurchPOP editor Jacqueline Burkepile, her husband, Mat Burkepile, (director of music and organist at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Lindsay, Texas), and Fr. Walterscheid sang the Divine Mercy Chaplet and recited other prayers. Mat played meditation music on the violin, and Fr. Walterscheid concluded with Eucharistic benediction.

Since many people cannot attend Mass or Divine Mercy services attached to the indulgence, ChurchPOP brings it to you. (See this article for detailed indulgence information.)
