Kanye West opened up about his pro-life views in a recent Forbes interview after announcing his 2020 presidential bid.
Forbes asked West about his position on abortion, and West slammed Planned Parenthood for its “white supremacy.”
West on Planned Parenthood: “White Supremacists Doing the Devil’s work”
West said he believes “Planned Parenthoods have been placed inside cities by white supremacists to do the Devil’s work.”
“I am pro-life because I’m following the word of the Bible,” he added.
Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger was a “racist eugenicist.”
“She wanted minorities to stop having children, encouraged infanticide, and wanted the government to control who was allowed to have kids.”
In a 1939 letter to Dr. Clarence J. Gamble, Sanger wrote, “We don’t want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population…”
In her 1938 biography, Sanger also states, “I accepted an invitation to talk to the women’s branch of the Ku Klux Klan…I was escorted to the platform, was introduced, and began to speak…In the end, through simple illustrations I believed I had accomplished my purpose. A dozen invitations to speak to similar groups were proffered.” (p. 366)
West announced his 2020 presidential bid on July 4.
The rapper insisted he is serious about running as an independent candidate.
“Like anything I’ve ever done in my life,” he said, “I’m doing it to win.”
Here’s his Twitter announcement below:
The announcement reads, “We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future. I am running for president of the United States🇺🇸 ! #2020VISION”
However, West believes “God appoints the president.”
“Let’s see if the appointing is at 2020 or if it’s 2024—because God appoints the president. If I win in 2020, then it was God’s appointment. If I win in 2024, then that was God’s appointment.”
“It’s God’s country,” West added. “We are doing everything in service to God, nobody but God no more. I am in service of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and I put everything I get on the line to serve God.”
Pray for our country! 🇺🇸 🙏 🇺🇸
