Bishop Joseph Strickland of the Diocese of Tyler, Texas unmasked the Black Lives Matter agenda in a recent tweet.

The Texas Bishop warned on Twitter that BLM’s key beliefs are contrary to Catholic teaching.

Here’s his tweet below:

The full tweet reads, “Please educate yourself on this! Toward the end of this statement, two points are made that are contrary to FAITH…#1 opposing the nuclear family (where is dad?) and #2 – opposing God’s plan for sex as a union of male and female. This agenda is DANGEROUS!”

The tweet provides a link to BLM’s “What We Believe” page.

The website’s text reads, “We disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure requirement by supporting each other as extended families and ‘villages’ that collectively care for one another, especially our children, to the degree that mothers, parents, and children are comfortable.

“We foster a queer‐affirming network. When we gather, we do so with the intention of freeing ourselves from the tight grip of heteronormative thinking, or rather, the belief that all in the world are heterosexual (unless s/he or they disclose otherwise).”

These BLM beliefs are “contrary to the faith”

The Catechism of the Catholic Church states that “The family is the original cell of social life. It is the natural society in which husband and wife are called to give themselves in love and in the gift of life.

“Authority, stability, and a life of relationships within the family constitute the foundations for freedom, security, and fraternity within society. The family is the community in which, from childhood, one can learn moral values, begin to honor God, and make good use of freedom. Family life is an initiation into life in society.” (CCC 2207)

The Catechism adds, “The importance of the family for the life and well-being of society entails a particular responsibility for society to support and strengthen marriage and the family.” (CCC  2210)

The Catholic Church also teaches that people who homosexual tendencies “must be accepted with respect, compassion, and sensitivity,” but that homosexual acts constitute “grave depravity,” are “intrinsically disordered,” and that “under no circumstances can they be approved.” Instead, “homosexual persons are called to chastity.” (CCC 2357-2359)

Let us pray for the conversion of sinners and for all who work to destroy a Christian society.

Please pray for our country! 🇺🇸  Our Lady, please pray for us! 🙏🙏🙏
