What a terrible sacrilege! 😭

Police arrested two suspects for allegedly desecrating the Eucharist and for destroying multiple sacred objects throughout the Church of Saint Agatha in Caltanissetta, Sicily in Italy.

Several pictures immersed of the horrific attack. The communications office for the Diocese of Caltanissetta shared the photos, which include desecrated altars, destroyed sacred art, and a raided tabernacle with hosts dispersed across the floor.

The diocese indicated that this is the church’s second raid within one month.

The post reads, “A little less than a month after the previous raid, a new theft and damage was perpetrated [during] the night in the Church of Sant’Agata in Caltanissetta.

“Unscrupulous ‘people’ and dignity intruded into the Church and parish premises, devastating everything they could, profaning the House of the Lord.

“The Jesus Nazareno Association gathers around Father Sergio and the Friars who have been at the service of the community and the whole city for years.
“We ask the city to make its voice and its condemnation heard loudly for these…cowardly acts.
“At the same time we invite you to make a contribution for the repair of the damage and the arrangement of the Church and the parish premises with a gesture of solidarity.”

Prayer of Reparation

Let us pray the Angel’s Fatima prayer in reparation for this horrible sacrilege against Our Lord:

“O Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, I adore Thee profoundly. I offer Thee the most precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ present in all the tabernacles of the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges and indifferences by which He is offended. By the infinite merits of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary I beg the conversion of poor sinners.”

Lord, please have mercy on us! 🙏🙏🙏
