Singer Gwen Stefani, Disney star David Henrie, and actor and television host Mario Lopez all vocalized their Catholic faith on Instagram for Ash Wednesday.

The three Catholic celebrities posted photos of their ashes with an inspirational message about the Lenten season.

“I’m so grateful for you guys. It’s the first day of Lent,” Stefani says as she points to the ashes on her forehead.

Stefani then published a photo of herself and a graphic quoting Gen. 3:19 – “Dust you are and to dust you shall return.”

Disney star David Henrie also posted his annual Ash Wednesday photo for the first day of Lent. He and his wife, Maria, posed with their ashes.

Henrie’s post reads, “#ashtag Ash Wednesday let’s go #lent. Vegetarian. Power fast. Let’s do this. What are y’all letting go of?!”

Saved by the Bell actor Mario Lopez also published his Ash Wednesday message alongside a priest.

He also invited his followers to pray with him using the Hallow App.
