Chilean Pro-Life Women Have Genius New Way to Protest Abortion

Why didn’t anyone think of this before?

Women of the Reivindica Feminist Movement in Chile had a pro-life rally on October 2nd earlier this year. Pro-life events happen all the time throughout the world, but this one was different: several pregnant women broadcast the heart-beat of their unborn child live during the event.

They accomplished this by strapping fetal monitors to their pregnant bellies and amplifying the real-time heartbeat of their children through loudspeakers.

“Let’s go to the underlying essence, and what is the essence?” one woman in the video explained. “That inside a woman’s womb there’s life, with a heart that is beating.”
