A Concerned Mother's Plead to Mass-Goers: "Contagious Sick Person, Please Stay Home"

Dear every contagious sick person,

Please stop going to Mass (or anywhere) you are not required to go (or can avoid going) when you are hacking your brains out and highly contagious. YOU ARE GETTING OTHERS SICK.

Because of you, I get sick, and I bring these viruses home to my children, (or vise versa), which results in another cycle of illness that never seems to end.

And when it does, people like you get us sick…AGAIN.

While Mass on Sundays and Holy Days is an obligation, you are not required to go when you are sick (CCC 2181). PLEASE STAY HOME.

If you can’t stay home, at least cover your mouth and wash your hands.

Thank you for understanding.

Sincerely,
The Person You Got Sick
