Here’s the translated text of his post:

“‘What will separate us from the love of Christ? Will anguish, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or the sword? (Romans 8:35)

“This weekend I fell victim to a virtual attack attempting to hack my [facebook] accounts, [Instagram], my email accounts and my internet banking.

“Also my TikTok where I only have one reel (I don’t know why anyone cares to enter my TikTok? )

“Thank God they couldn’t do anything. The safety alerts jumped and I could stop all that immediately. Save a debit card steal.

“But they also sent me a bullet again. It’s the third since Monday, May 24 It’s my first time posting about this topic.

“Who or who are the authors? I have no idea. I just pray for them and ask God for their soul, for peace in their heart. I’ve always considered that I have no enemies and I still think I don’t have them.

“Scared? NO.
“They want me to shut up? NEVER.”
“I will keep talking? ALWAYS.”

“God, the Blessed Virgin Mary, San Lorenzo, St. Teresa of Calcutta, St. Pio Pietrelcina, St. Josemaría Escrivá, St. Rafael Arnaiz Barón, and St. Alberto Hurtado will continue to take care of me.

“#TerrorismNeverAgain.”

“Counting on your prayers.”

Other threats

Father Omar Buenaventura is Secretary General of Cáritas Lurín, in Peru, and known for his extensive solidarity work on behalf of thousands of needy people in Peru.

In May, he received another threat after criticizing communism in a homily.

Remembering María Agustina Rivas López, ‘Sr. Aguchita,’ he then said, “she, full of the Holy Spirit, continued helping the poorest towns, the most needy people, and was martyred, murdered, in a public square, by these Shining Path delinquents.”

Pray for the safety of priests!
