Fr. Goyo Hidalgo of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles posted his daily morning prayer on Twitter.

The associate pastor of St. Philomena Catholic Church in Carson, Cali. wrote his daily prayer upon rising, revealing that he is not a morning person.

Here’s the text of Fr. Goyo’s morning prayer:

“God you know I am not a morning person.
You know I love sleeping.
But thank You for one more day.
Here I go with You.
Don’t let me stay in your way.
Forgive my moods.
Help me be your image
so whoever encounters me,
will glorify you.
Amen.”

At the time of this writing, Fr. Goyo’s post received more than 900 likes, 106 retweets, and 22 comments. He’s really got people praying!
