Something extraordinary happened at SEEK 2026, and its impact reached far beyond the conference itself.

From Jan. 1-5, more than 20,000 young Catholics gathered in convention centers in Columbus, Ohio; Denver, Colo.; and Fort Worth, Texas.

Even though each city provided a unique experience through keynote speakers and educational events, attendees shared something much deeper: a powerful and authentic encounter with God.

Here are six moments we can’t stop thinking about — each a reminder of God moving in big (and little) ways!

1) Father David Michael Moses’ performance

One of the most talked about moments from SEEK 2026 in Fort Worth was the performance by Father David Michael Moses, one of the most prominent Catholic influencers on Instagram with more than 1.2 million followers.

On the evening of January 1, he took the stage before 4,500 attendees, performing several of his hit songs — including “Plot Twist":

During the event, Father David Michael Moses also spoke about Saint Pier Giorgio Frassati, the patron Saint of SEEK 2026.

He said to the crowd,

“A question of the saints, like Pier Giorgio Frassati… What's the most that you can do? Jesus did the most that he could do for you on the cross. He gives everything. What’s the most that you’re willing to give.. that you’re willing to offer?”

2) Incredibly LONG confession lines

One of the most breathtaking sights of the week: confession lines everywhere.

According to Father Chris Boutin in Columbus, nearly 16,000 confessions were heard in one night!

3) A world-record Catholic speed dating event

Easily one of the most unexpected events to unfold at SEEK 2026 this year came from an event hosted by Candid Dating.

More than 2,500 Catholic singles showed up to participate, making it the LARGEST speed dating event in the world.

Candid co-founder Taylor O’Brien brought the event to SEEK in Columbus because, she said,

“As Catholics, we hold the sacrament of marriage very close — and that comes with a lot of pressure. Our hope is for Catholics to return to conversation, to be in communion with one another, and to offer the gift of self while receiving the gift of another. That all starts with a conversation.”

4) The music that brought everyone together

Before keynote speakers took the stage each night at SEEK, the atmosphere inside convention centers across all three cities was already electric. Live music filled the room as dozens of university flags waved above the crowd, and attendees sang along with fellow Catholics from across the country.

5) Children meeting Jesus at family adoration

One of the most tender moments of SEEK 2026 unfolded during family adoration, when children were invited to encounter Jesus in the Eucharist alongside their families.

6) One night of adoration across three cities

If you asked attendees of SEEK what they found to be the most moving moment of the conference, many would likely mention adoration.

On the same night, thousands gathered in Columbus, Denver, and Fort Worth, kneeling together before the Eucharist. In those sacred moments, Christ met each person exactly where they were.

SEEK 2026 has ended, but what God began there continues for all, whether you were there to catch these moments in person or you’re just now seeing them!

The five-day experience has been renewed for 2027 in Columbus, Ohio, and San Antonio, Texas, with major discounts for those who sign up for early registration through January 31st.
