Wow! This is awesome! 🙌

Pro-life advocate and artist Tayler Hansen painted a street mural near Planned Parenthood in Salt Lake City, Utah. Hansen posted a video addressing the mural on Twitter.

The artist said he painted the mural early Saturday morning to “raise awareness for one of the most egregious human rights violations,” which “was the leading cause of death worldwide” in 2019.

“I felt inclined to demonstrate a true peaceful protest dedicated to those abandoned without a voice.”

Here’s the text of the video:

“My name is Tayler Hansen. I’m making this video to raise awareness for one of the most egregious human rights violations that has not been properly addressed,” Hansen explains.

“In 2019, abortion was the leading cause of death worldwide. Almost 43 million children were denied the most basic right of all–life–which is why I felt inclined to demonstrate a true peaceful protest dedicated to those abandoned without a voice.

“This was the outcome.”

Hansen’s video caught national attention with almost 300,000 views on Twitter.

Turning Point USA Chief Creative Officer Benny Johnson posted several photos of the mural, along with abortion statistics.

The second tweet reads, “FACT: Planned Parenthood has eliminated +20 million black lives./ FACT: Planned Parenthood was started by a KKK supporting racist who wanted to slow the birth of black people. / FACT: PP clinics are in primarily minority communities. / If you believe Black Lives Matter — be Pro Life”

Hansen later announced in an additional tweet that someone removed the mural about 10 hours later.

Hansen’s tweet reads, “The mural has already been desecrated and erased to an extent. / THIS IS NOT OVER!”
