Actor David Henrie recently announced on Instagram that Los Angeles Archbishop José H. Gomez introduced him to his wife, Maria.
Henrie published a video of himself alongside Maria and Archbishop Gomez while attending the red carpet premiere of the EWTN+ original documentary series, “Seeking Beauty.”
“HOW I MET MY WIFE ❤️!" the caption reads. "Got to recreate this special moment at the @seekingbeauty.ewtn world premiere!!! It comes out Monday, y'all!!! Thank you, Archbishop Gomez, for introducing me to her!”
Before David and Maria met, Maria was a Catholic chastity speaker and competed in beauty pageants. She won the title of Miss Delaware in 2011. David and Maria reportedly met in 2014 and married in 2017. They now have three living children.
Several users responded to the viral video of David, Maria, and Archbishop Gomez on the red carpet for “Seeking Beauty,” including “The Chosen” star, Jonathan Roumie.
