The guys clarify how fear of the Lord means deep reverence, rather than fear of punishment, and that profound love and respect are the signs of a mature faith that should underpin our relationship with the Divine.
"Fear of God is not about being afraid of punishment, but about never wanting to be cut off from Him because of the peace and solace found in His presence," Scheel says.
The guys also emphasize the importance of being receptive to God's guidance and encourage listeners to integrate these insights about the Seven Gifts into their daily lives.
"God's counsel helps us fulfill His will, even with our own sinful pride. It's about seeing fortunate outcomes from our falls, gaining knowledge, and living the wisdom we acquire,” Father Pagano emphasizes.
