Travelers at Chicago’s airport were recently surprised by an extraordinary sight: a group of nuns from the Servants of the Pierced Hearts of Jesus and Mary walking through the terminal with a statue of the Virgin Mary.
Their spontaneous display of faith quickly won the hearts of many.
The moment, captured on video by Mother Adela Galindo—the foundress of the congregation—shows the sisters in their brown habits reverently carrying the image of Our Lady through the busy airport.
Despite the usual rush, people paused to take it all in: some snapped photos, others touched the image with devotion, made the sign of the cross, or whispered a short prayer.
“"Our Lady conquering Hearts at the airport in Chicago.” Mother Adela writes in her post.
Within just two days, the video garnered over 10,000 likes, with many viewers praising the nuns’ beautiful and moving witness to the faith.
"What a beautiful evangelization these sisters have done. They conquer the heart."
“I love you! Bringing Our Lady’s love everywhere!”
“Mary teaches us to evangelize. I love her with all my heart.”
This video is a powerful reminder that Mary never stops seeking out her children—even in the most unexpected places. Let us allow her to take us by the hand and lead us ever closer to Jesus.
