On Oct. 14, 2025, thousands joined countless religious and laity for a Eucharistic procession through the streets of New York City, stopping traffic during rush hour.
The free event, hosted by the Napa Institute, began at 3:00 p.m. local time with Eucharistic meditations and confessions at Saint Patrick’s Cathedral.
Actor Jonathan Roumie also surprised participants as a celebrity guest, helping lead the Eucharistic meditations. He sat near actor David Henrie and Napa Institute founder Tim Busch, who were also in attendance.
From a packed Saint Patrick’s Cathedral, Mass began at 4:00 p.m., with Cardinal Sean O’Malley as the primary celebrant. Concelebrants included Auxiliary Bishop Joseph Espaillat of the Archdiocese of New York, Bishop John Oliver Barres of the Diocese of Rockville Centre, New York, and Cardinal Giorgio Marengo.
Since October 14 is National Day of Remembrance for Charlie Kirk, the intercessory prayers at Mass included prayers for Charlie Kirk and his family.
Cardinal Timothy Dolan gave the final blessing after Mass and led the closing Benediction.
