At the end of the podcast, Newton-John told host Sarah Grynberg that pregnancy complications almost resulted in the death of her daughter. She also reveals her favorite prayer, and that her parents took her to a Presbyterian church as a child.

“I remember when I was pregnant with Chloe, and I was close to losing her at one point,” Newton-John explained.

“I had to go to bed…and I asked God to please save Chloe. If he did, I would say the Lord’s Prayer every night for the rest of my life, and so I have. It is my favorite prayer. It’s a beautiful and powerful prayer,” the singer said.

“I believe in prayer. I think prayer is very powerful.”

The singer did not reveal her specific faith, but discussed New Age and Buddhist practices, which are contrary to Catholic teaching. New Age practices open doors to witchcraft and the occult.
