Monkey, a trained dog, has captivated millions on social media after painting none other than the Face of Jesus.

Guided by his owner and trainer, Omar Von Muller, this six-year-old dog has aroused admiration for his unique and surprising artistic ability.

Monkey is no ordinary dog; he has developed a talent that sets him apart: he paints pictures with a brush in his mouth, and recently, he created a work that has touched the hearts of many: an image of the face of Christ.

Here is the video below:

“You have to give him all the credit, because he’s the only dog in the world doing this,” Von Muller said in an interview with WPLG Local 10.

This Belgian Malinois has learned numerous tricks throughout his life, but about six months ago, he embarked on a new adventure with his trainer: painting.

“We started working very hard at the end of last year, and he just got getting better and better. He blew my mind because I never expected him to do this well,” Von Muller said.

The process has not been easy. Von Muller taught Monkey how to hold the brush, how to move in different directions on the canvas, and how to use smooth, firm, upward, and downward strokes.

“There are a bunch of different types of strokes we practice. We do drills. And once the dog gets all the drills, then we add the paint and colors, and we make art,” he explained.

Monkey enjoys painting. At night, he approaches the canvas alone, ready to continue his work. Each painting can take hours to complete, with breaks interspersed with time to rest and dry the layers of paint with a hairdryer.

Currently, the artist's works sell for between $1,500 and $2,000, and his videos have accumulated millions of views on Instagram.

This is the case with his latest masterpiece: the Face of Jesus.

The painting video is accompanied by a narration describing each step of the process. Guided by Von Muller's voice, Monkey creates an image, a serene face.

“A face in profile, calm, eyes closed in peace, with soft fan brushstrokes. Shadows appear, adding depth, softness, and reverence. Then, a bold red sweeps across the canvas. Monkey pauses. And golden-yellow lines trace across the forehead: a crown of thorns, a symbol of suffering and of grace.
"The King is here. Now the background comes alive, an abstract blend of colors and textures, rich with meaning.”

The final image shows the face of Jesus, finished with a special touch: Monkey's paw print, carefully stamped in one corner as the artist's signature.

In less than a month, the video has already surpassed 270,000 likes and generated hundreds of astonished comments.

“'Guided by the still small voice and gentle hand of his Father. ' Just as God wants to guide us and lead us to create a beautiful masterpiece with our lives, something we are not capable of doing without Him,” one user said.
“Your dad is also a very talented artist for being able to direct your brushstrokes!” another user added. “You two are amazing!”
