This important film will help counter Halloween culture!

The new film, “Triumph Over Evil: Battle of the Exorcists,” will hit theaters for one day only on October 30, 2025. This film releases just in time for Halloween!

During a time of the cultural glorification of evil, this new docudrama, approved by the International Association of Exorcists, explains and depicts the powerful work of exorcists against satanic forces. It uncovers the exorcism ministry, the significance of prayer and fasting in spiritual battles, and the power of Our Lady against the devil.

Father Gabriele Amorth, the former chief exorcist of Rome, also appears in never-before-seen footage. He filmed his segment in 2012, providing a blessing over the docudrama and encouraging its production.

The primary purpose of “Triumph Over Evil” is “to show what a real exorcism is and to help people better understand the tactics of Satan.”

Italian film director Giovanni Ziberna assured viewers that “this is not a horror film.”

“The goal is to bring light and understanding, not fear and superstition,” Ziberna said in a press release.

Ziberna, a former atheist and anti-Catholic, experienced a profound conversion to the Catholic Church upon an invitation to assist in exorcism ministry. This experience inspired him and his wife, Valeria Baldan, to release this film.

“Growing up, I did everything not to seek him in the Church, and an openly anti-Catholic sentiment grew within me,” Ziberna said. “An exorcism is actually a deeply spiritual place of great light, where the Lord triumphs over darkness. And when you are in God’s grace and you entrust yourself to the Lord, you don’t have fear of the devil. It is actually the devil who fears those who rely on God.”

“Triumph Over Evil” producer Oscar Delgado (“Jesus Thirsts: The Miracle of the Eucharist”) expressed the importance of the film, especially amid the “Halloween culture in the U.S.”

“Halloween culture in the U.S. that is celebrated with signs and symbols of witches and the demonic is more openly accepted by today’s Christians,” said Delgado. “It’s time for the Church to give rightful acknowledgement to God and His power during this hallowed season dedicated to the angels and saints and use this film as an opportunity to instruct the faithful on how to truly be the Church militant.”
